Advocacy & Resource Center

Advocacy & Resource Center assists people in Sheridan county that have been effected by trauma. Victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, DUI accidents, homicide, burglary and other violent crimes can receive assistance with navigating the court system, creating safety plans, obtaining protection orders, relocation for safety reasons, food and shelter or emotional support.  We will assist any way we can to help people overcome the violence or trauma they have suffered.  We assist people of all ages and genders.

Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed in life.  Our programs have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of the young people we serve.  We partner with families, school and local organizations to ensure the children in our community thrive. The American Institute of Philanthropy (AIP) and the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance has included Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in its list of Top-Rated Charities.  Each year in Sheridan we now average over 5000 community volunteer hours directly serving children ages 5-16.

The Sheridan Rotary Foundation is a private, stand-alone corporation that serves as the primary community charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Sheridan. Contributions to the Foundation are added to an eternal endowment fund and allocated income from that fund is utilized to support grants for charitable and educational purposes, primarily in the Sheridan County area.

About the Trail

Your Trail host, the Sheridan Rotary Club has teamed with fantastic sponsors and 15 – 20 of some Sheridan County’s best Pubs to offer great deals on drinks and support local charities. Must be 21 to participate

How do I purchase the Trail Pass?

You purchase the Sheridan Pub Trail Pass for $20.00 on the DonorTrail App or you can purchase a gift card that you redeem on the App. Remember you can purchase the Trail Pass as many times as you’d like so you’re never short of great deals!

How do the charities get their money?

The Sheridan Rotary Club manages the collection of the donations to the charity of your choice. They are 100% volunteer run with no administration cost. The Host Club determines the proceeds collected from the Trail Pass and each charity is given a check by the Club.

How long does the Trail Pass last?

The Trail Pass is valid for 12 months from the date you activate it. We encourage you to take your time to visit all the spots on the Trail. Remember, it’s the journey, not the destination! So don’t forget to stop and smell the hops!

How do I redeem prizes?

After redeeming offers from a certain number of local businesses, you’ll see a message in the app letting you know where and when to redeem your prize!
